Saraswati Puja is observed for three days during Navratri Durga Puja in many places of India. In 2018, Saraswati Puja begins on October 14 and ends on October 16.

Usually it begins on Maha Saptami and ends on Mahanavami.

14 October 2018 – Saraswati Avahan. Best / Auspicious Muhurat for Saraswati Avahan – 3.23 PM to 5.43 PM

15 October 2018 – Saraswati Pujan (Maha Saptami) (Moola Nakshatra Saraswati Pujan) (Maha Sashti) – Saraswati Puja Muhurat – 3.33 PM to 5.54 PM. Saraswati Puja in South India.

16 October 2018 – Saraswati Puja in Purvashada Nakshatra. Saraswati Puja Muhurat – 6.03 AM to 11.41 AM. Saraswati Pujan in North India.

17 October 2018 – Saraswati Uttara Puja – Mahanavami – Saraswati Balidaan / Visarjan (Mahanavami Upvaas). Saraswati Balidan.

Saraswati Puja is also known as Triratri Vrata in Navratri Puja. Moola Nakshatra Saraswati Puja is celebrated with utmost gusto and very popular in Basar Saraswati Temple, Vargal Saraswati Temple, Vijayawada Kanakadurga Temple and many other Ammavari temples in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
