  • Performing the Sankashta Ganapathi Pooja, which includes unique stories (Vrata Kathas) for each month.

Rituals

  1. Morning Preparation: Devotees wake early, take a holy bath, and clean their homes.
  2. Idol Worship: An idol of Ganesha is placed on a wooden plank, adorned with flowers and garlands.
  3. Offerings: Modaks and other sweets are offered along with Durva grass, which is particularly dear to Ganesha.
  4. Prayers: Devotees chant various mantras and recite stories related to Ganesha.
  5. Breaking the Fast: The fast is concluded after sighting the moon at night.
