There are lot of Raghavendra Temples situated all over India, and among those temples, there is a famous temple for Guru Raghavendra which is situated at Jolarpet, and the address of the temple is Babu Nagar 2nd St, Kudiyanakuppam, Tamil Nadu 635851.
Consecration ceremony also done at this temple in a grand manner and lot of devotees present at the temple, and received the blessings of the holy Guru Sri Raghavendra. The founder of this temple is Sri Balraj, who has changed his name into Balu Raghavendra, due to his sincere devotion on him.
Several years before, Balraj visited Mantralayam along with his friend. But at that time, he didn’t know about the significance of Guru Raghavendra. But due to the grace of Guru Raghavendra, he has become his sincere devotee, and started doing bhajans and conducted discourses about the life history of Guru Raghavendra at Jolarpet. Initially he has started a Bhajana Mandali for Guru Raghavendra at Jolarpet. But after a long period, with much pain staking efforts, he has built a nice temple for Guru Raghavendra at Jolarpet with the help of Philanthropists and Raghavendra devotees. His each and every cell speaks about the importance of Guru Raghavendra, and those who hear his divine speeches would become staunch devotees of Guru Raghavendra.
Every Thursday, special pujas would be held at this temple, and during that time we can also participate in the nice event and receive the blessings of Guru Raghavendra. There are lot of devotees of Guru Raghavendra, who have surrendered at the holy lotus feet of the great Guru.
