TTD should print and publish cartoon books and reader-friendly books for common people to better under stand the History of Tirumala temple, Lord Venkateswara etc., advised a pilgrim caller Sri Geetaprasad from Hubli of Karnataka.
The monthly Dial Your EO programme was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday. The EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal attended the calls from 16 pilgrim callers across the country.
During the programme, the caller suggested EO that, though there are many publications by TTD, they are reaching only intellectual and scholarly section of the people. But for the easy and better understanding of children and common people, TTD might plan comic books and mythological books in easy language.
Welcoming the suggestion, the EO said, TTD has already reviewed on the subject and soon comic books as well as animated mythological series will be aired in SVBC.
Another caller from Vijayawada Sri Siddhartha sought EO to perform Metlotsavam, for which he said, the programme for the same will be planned and executed seeing the possibility under the supervision of Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar soon.
A senior citizen Sri Seshakumar from Bengaluru brought to the notice of TTD EO to streamline the queue system for PHC and aged person line at scanning point. He also sought EO to provide mini bus facility to drop this category of pilgrims back to museum point after completing darshan.
Later clearing the doubts of pilgrim callers Sri Vinay from Bengaluru, Sri Bhavanarayana from Guntur, Dr Raghunatha Reddy from Hyderabad, the EO said, the present dip system is a transparent mechanism.
A caller Sri Praveen from Chennai said, TTD should find out a mechanism to avoid taking photos of pachyderms after the procession of deities in front of Tirumala temple as it might pose danger. The EO ensured of necessary action.
Another caller Sri Venkateswara Rao from Chennai sought EO to provide certain quota to Senior Citizens to have Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan on Vaikuntha Ekadasi day.
Some other callers brought to the notice of EO certain issues related to local temples at Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy temple, Tiruchanoor, Annamacharya Kalamandiram etc.
