Narayana Suktam

Narayana Suktam is a hymn taken mentioned in Yajurveda. According to some commentaries, Narayana Suktam is referred to as an appendix of the Purusha Suktam.

Narayana Suktam is also dedicated to the cosmic being, the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva.

Narayana Suktam is also considered as one of the Shanti Mantras chanted during Puja and other auspicious programs.

Narayana Suktam starts with the verse…

“Sahana navathu.Sahanou bunakthu. Saha veerya karavavahai.
Tejaswinaa vadheedamasthu maa vidwishavahaii.
Om shanthi, shanthi, shanthi”…
