Narasimha Deeksha in Yadagirigutta Temple

Narasimha Deeksha is a 11-day Deeksha observed at Yadagirigutta, Nalgonda district of Telangana. In 2022, Narasimha Deeksha begins on May 3 and will end on May 14 with Nrusimha Jayanti (Narasimha Chaturdashi).

The 11-day Narasimha Deeksha begins on Akshaya Tritiya and ends with special pujas on Nrusimha Jayanti.

The Pujaris in Temple initiated this Narasimha Maala this year by making Kankana Dharana and reciting the Deeksha Sankalpam mantras.

Akshaya Tritiya is one of the auspicious days dedicated to Lord Narasimha Swamy. On this ‘Chandanotsavam’ is held in Narasimha Swamy Temples across the world.

Narasimha Deeksha in Previous Years

In 2019, Narasimha Deeksha begins on May 7 and will end on May 17 with Nrusimha Jayanti (Narasimha Chaturdashi).

In 2018, Narasimha Deeksha has begun on April 18 and will end on April 28 with Nrusimha Jayanti (Narasimha Chaturdashi).
