Mahishasura Mardhini
Mahishasura Mardhini or Mahishagni, the Goddess who demolished the buffalo demon Mahishasura, is one of the most powerful manifestations of Goddess Shakti.
It is observed on Shukla Ashtami in Ashada Month. In 2025, Mahishasura Mardhini Puja date is July 3.
It is to note that on Vijaya Dashami day, Mahishasura Mardini killed Mahishasura and restored peace and prosperity on the Earth. This puja is also known as Mahishagni Pooja.
