Krishna Pushkaram Trains – Puri, Rayagada Special Trains in August 2016..
The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run special trains from Puri and Rayagada to handle the rush of passengers during Krishna Pushkaram Festival in Andhra Pradesh.
Puri-Guntur Pushkaram Special will leave Puri at 11.30am on August 11, 16, 19 and 22 and reach Guntur at 6.30 am on the following days. During the return journey, the Guntur-Puri Special will leave Guntur at 7pm on August 12, 17, 20 and 23 and will arrive at Puri at 11.25am on the following days.
Rayagada-Krishna Canal special will leave Rayagada at 2.30pm on August 11, 16, 19 and 22 and reach Krishna Canal at 4.15am on the following days. During the return journey, it will leave Krishna Canal at 8.40pm on August 12, 17, 20 and 23 and arrive at Rayagada at 9am on the following days.
Both the trains have the facility of booking a reserved accommodation, ECoR sources said.
