Jhoola Festival 2018 – Hindola, Swing Festival in Sri Krishna Temples

Jhoola festival or Hindola Utsav, also known as Swing festival, is the most beautifully celebrated festival in Sri Krishna temples. In Vrindavan Banke Bihariji Temple, Jhoola festival 2018 date is August 14.

This is a month-long festival in most of the temples dedicated to Lord Krishna and Jagannath. It is celebrated on Haryali Teej day (third day in Shukla Paksha of Shravan month).

In Puri Jagannath Mandir, Jhula Festival or Jhulan Yatra is celebrated for 5 days which begins on August 21 and ends on August 26.

In all Gaudiya Matha temples, Jhulana Yatra (Swing festival) begins on August 21 and ends on August 26 in 2018.

In ISKCON Bangalore, Jhulan Utsava 2018 dates are – from August 21 to August 26.

In some temples Jhulan Utsav is celebrated for 13 days.
