Gujarat to host Navratri 2010 Grand Garba Festival – Diplomats from 84 countries to witness

Its all set for Mega Navratri 2010 Garba festival to be commenced on September 10 in 2010. Diplomats from 84 countries will visit Gujarat to witness the grand event which will be held at GMDC ground in Ahmedabad. Gujarat government is estimated that they will spend more than 10 crore rupees for Grand Navratri 2010 Garba Festival event. Chief Minister of Gujarat, Mr Narendra Modi will inaugurate the event.

The stage is set for the showpiece of the Gujarat government’s Navratri programme. The GMDC ground is all decked up for the visitors who have started pouring in. It’s fun time for all here and entry is free.

The grand festivities will take place on October 10 where the main dignitaries and VVIPs will take the main stage. The ancillary stage will have state level garba competitions. There will be food courts, adventure sports pavilion, exhibition of the 5000-year history of Gujarat, theme pavilion, special activity centre for kids, among other things.
