Ganesha Festival 2012 special trains between Ahmedabad Madgaon

To clear the extra rush during Ganesh festival 2012 season, the Konkan Railway will run special trains between Ahmedabad – Madgaon in August & September 2012.

Here is the detailed information of the special trains:

For the convenience of passengers during Ganesh Festival, WR will run 28 Special train services between Bandra(T)- Madgaon (Goa) and Ahmedabad – Madgaon (Goa) via Vasai Rd.

Bandra(T) – Madgaon Bi -Weekly Special

Train No.09009 Bandra(T)– Madgaon Bi-Weekly Express will leave Bandra(T) at 23.50 hrs on every Sunday & Wednesday from 12th September to 30thSeptember , 2012. It will reach Madgaon at 16.30 hrs, the next day.
Similarly, in return direction train No.09010 Madgaon – Bandra(T) Bi-Weekly Express will leave Madgaon at 20.00 hrs on every Monday & Thursday from 13th September to 01st October , 2012. It will arrive at Bandra(T) at 13.25 hrs, the next day.

The train will halt at Andheri, Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur, Vaibhavwadi, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi, Madure, Pernem, Thivim and Karmali stations in both directions.
The train will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper class and II class general coaches.

Ahmedabad – Madgaon Weekly special

Train No.09416 Ahmedabad–Madgaon Weekly Express will leave Ahmedabad at 16.35 hrs on 17th & 24th September, 2012 (Monday). It will arrive at Vasai Rd at 00.40 hrs next day and reach Madgaon at 16.30 hrs.
Similarly, in return direction train No.09415 Madgaon – Ahmedabad Weekly Express will leave Madgaon at 20.00 hrs on 18th & 25th September, 2012(Tuesday).It will arrive at Vasai Rd at 10.40 hrs next day and reach Ahmedabad at 19.20 hrs.

The train will halt at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari,Valsad, Vapi, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur, Vaibhavwadi, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Sawantwadi, Madure, Pernem, Thivim and Karmali stations in both directions.
The train will have AC 2-tier , AC 3-tier, Sleeper class and II class general coaches.

Ahmedabad – Madgaon Bi-Weekly special

Train No.09418 Ahmedabad – Madgaon Bi-Weekly Express will leave Ahmedabad at 16.35 hrs on every Tuesday& Saturday from 11th to 29th September, 2012. It will arrive at Vasai Rd at 00.40 hrs next day and reach Madgaon at 16.30 hrs.

Similarly, in return direction train No.09417 Madgaon – Ahmedabad Bi-Weekly Express will leave Madgaon at 20.00 hrs on every Wednusday & Sunday from 12th to 30th September, 2012.It will arrive at Vasai Rd at 10.40 hrs next day and reach Ahmedabad at 19.20 hrs.
