Manali,when I visited,like many tourists goig to hills,had hardly any idea that there is a Manu maharaj,temple signifying the creation followed through him & Shtaroopa after the last diluge.Manu aalaya which literally means station or home of Manu.It is situated further on a narrow hillock hardly a Km from Mall,but is less frequented than the other [also,a unique temple]  i.e. Hidimba’s which is on easy motorable approach.Going to Manu  is better through auto than four-wheeler.Clode-by areas of Kullu too have many ancient subjects of interests.
