Ekadashi in November 2010 – Ekadasi vrata dates in November 2010

Both the Ekadashi vrat in November 2010 are most auspicious fasting dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Ekadashi November 2010 dates are – November 2 and November 17. Rama Ekadashi is observed on November 2nd 2010 which comes just 3 days before Diwali. Dev Utthana Ekadashi or Prabhodini Ekadasi 2010 date is November 17.

Rama Ekadashi falls on Krishna Paksha Ekadashi in Kartik month as per North Indian Hindi calendar. It falls in Krishna paksha of Ashwin month as per Marathi, Gujarati, Telugu, and Kannda calendars.

Dev Utthana Ekadashi, also known as Dev Prabhodini Ekadashi or Utthwana Ekadashi or Kartik Ekadasi falls in Shukla Paksha of Kartik month as per all Indian Hindu lunar calendars. This day marks the end of Chaturmas Vrat. It also marks the beginning of Vishnu Panchak Vrata.

Pandharpur Palkhi Yatra is celebrated on Kartik Ekadashi day. Tulsi Vivah also starts on Utthwana Ekadashi.
