Bipattarini Brata (Bipadtarini Brata), an auspicious austerity dedicated to Goddess Shakti, is considered as one of the pious vratas observed mainly be Bengali women. In 2018, Bipattarini Puja dates are – 17 July and 21 July.
Bipattarini Mata is one of the local manifestations of Mother Goddess. This Brata is observed on Tuesday or Saturday in Ashar Month (June-July) in Bengali calendar during Rathayatra (from Rathayatra day to Ultorath – Punaryatra).
2018-2019 year is Year 1425 in Bengali Calendar. 17 July is ’32 Ashar 1425′ (Tuesday) and 1 July is ‘4 Shraban 1425’ (Saturday) as per Bengali Panjika.
Similar to Goddess Parvati who saved Lord Shiva when he swallows the poison during the churning of Ocean (Ksheer sagar Manthan), Goddess Bipattarini is considered as one of the forms of Shakti who saved Lord Krishna from danger.
