On 7 July 2022, Ugraprabha & Deepta are the two Goddesses for Shakambari Utsavams in Hanumakonda Bhadrakali Temple for morning puja and Tvarita Devi & Kulasundari Devi are the Goddesses for evening Puja. Goddess Bhadrakali is decorated in the form of above four Goddesses on this particular day.
As a part of celebrations, Bhadrakali Maa appears in the form of Ugraprabha Yogini Mata and Deepta Devi in the morning and in the evening the Goddess is worshipped as Tvarita Devi & Kulasundari Devi.
‘Ugraprabha’ means ‘Ruler of the seminal essence’ and ‘Thvaritha’ means the ‘Giver of the Upward Ecstasy’. Tvarita is the ninth Nitya (Eternity) in the cycle. Also called Totala Devi. She is called Tvarita (“Swift”) as She grants fruit to the sadhaka quickly.
7 July 2022 is the eighth day of Hanamkonda Shakambari Utsavams. The special pujas will end on Guru Purnima day (Ashada Pournami).
