64 Yoginis or Chaushat Yogini Mata, Chatushashti Yogini Goddesses

Here you can get the names of 64 Yoginis. Also known as Chaushat Yogini Mata or Chatushashti Yogini Goddesses, 64 Yoginis are believed manifestations of Goddess Shakti. Often Saptamatrikas or Ashtamatrikas are confused with the Yogini shakti.

Yoginis are represented as various powers or energies or manifestations of Goddess Shakti or Durga engaged in fighting with the demons Shumbha and Nishumbha. It is also believed that from each Matrika eight Yoginis were born (64 Yoginis from 8 Matrikas).

Some scriptures also tell that these Yoginis are installed in Manikarnika Ghat in Varanasi by Lord Shiva.

It would also be helpfull to have English translation.
