55-foot clay Ganesha idol at Durgam Chervu, Hyderabad
55-foot clay Ganesha idol is erected at Durgam Cheruvu, Hyderabad on this Ganesh Chaturthi. It has become the largest Ganapathi in Hyderabad for this Vinayaka Chavithi. It is getting huge response as it is made of pure clay (mud). With the association of TV9, an organization of Hyderabad called ‘Share A Service’ has constructed this Ganesh statue to promote Green Ganesha and the importance of celebrating Ganesh festival in eco-friendly manner.
As per the height, this Green Ganesha is the biggest in Hyderabad whereas the Khairatabad Ganapathi occupies second spot and the Chaitanyapuri Ganapathi (48-foot) settled in third place.
