Jyeshta month, or Jyeshta maas or Jyeshta masam (May-June-July) is the third month in traditional Hindu lunar calendar. In 2025, Jyeshta month begins on May 13 and end on June 11 as per North Indian Hindu calendars. In other lunar calendars followed in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, Jyeshta Mahina in 2025 starts on May 27 and ends on June 25.

Jyeshta is also one of the 27 nakshatras in Hindu Astrology. Jyeshta month falls when Purnima or Full Moon day (or before or after a day or couple) of the month coincides with Jyeshta nakshatra.

Amavasya in Jyeshta Month is Shani Jayanti (as per North Indian Hindi calendar). Falharini Kali Puja is also observed on Jyeshta Amavasya. Rambha Vrat (Rambha Tritiya Vrata), Aranya Sashti (Vindhya Vasini Puja / Vanagauri Puja), Mela Kshirbhavani in Kashmir, Ganga Dashara Ganga Pujan & Vat Savitri Vrat (Vat Purnima Vrat) are observed in Jyeshta Month.
