Turmeric powder – 200 gms / 1 packet
Sandalwood paste/powder – 1 packet
Camphor – 1 packet (Harathi Karpooram)
Incense Sticks – 1 packet (Agarbattis)
Flowers – few bunches
Fruits – Bananas & any other fruits
Coconuts – 6 to 10
Rice – 5 kgs
Betel leaves & betel nuts – 50 leaves & 20 nuts
Coins – 50
Fire log or fire starter – 1
Dhoti to be given away to the Brahmin / others – 1
New dhoti for the boy who is getting the ceremony done – 1
Flower garlands – 1 to 3
