Khairatabad Ganesh Utsava Samithi Ganapathi idol

2019 Theme

“Sri Dwadashaditya Maha Ganapati” is the basic theme name for this Ganpati. As per sources, the idol will have 12-headed snake in the background. The idol will also have 14 arms and 14 Ayudhams (weapons), one each in a hand.

This giant Ganesha will have 12 serpents in the top side and seven 20-feet horses from ground to the mid portion of the idol.

2018 Theme

“Sri Saptamukha Vinayakudu” is the basic theme name for this Ganpati. As per sources, the idol will have 7-headed snake in the background. The idol will also have 14 arms and 14 Ayudhams (weapons), one each in a hand.

The Seven-headed mammoth idol will have Srinivasa Kalyanam (the set of celestial marriage of Lord Venkateshwara and Padmavathi Ammavaru) in the left side and Shiva Parvathi in the right side.

2017 Theme

“Sri Chandi Kumara Anantha Maha Ganapathi” is the basic theme name for this Ganpati. As per the picture released, it will have ‘Maha Kala Sadashivudu’ at its left side and the scene of ‘Mahishasura Mardhini’ at its right side.

2016 Theme

“Sri Shaktipeetha Shiva Nagendra Maha Ganapathi” is the basic theme name for this Ganpati. As per the picture released, it will have Tirumala Tirupati Venkateshwara Swamy at its left side and the scene of Lord Krishna lifting Govardhana Giri in Mahabharata at its right side. The idol will have Shivalinga in the background with Nagendra hooded on Linga. The portrayals of Goddess Saraswati, Lalitatripura Sundari, Nagendra Swamy and Kamadhenu are also play their part in this large Ganesha.

2015 Theme
