Vinayaka Chavithi is the biggest festival in Andhra Pradesh. When I visited Bangalore last year, the Ganesha idols were set up and offered pujas till Dasara. I don’t what is the reason behind it. Why Ganesh idols kept worshipping till Dasara whereas Ganesha festival ends on Ananta Chaturdasi in all other places of India.
