Tarani Prasad Misro, one of the popular sand sculptors in India, has made a sand sculpture for Ganesh Chaturthi 2012 in Singarayakonda, Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh.
Tarani says he used only sand for this sculpture. The sand sculpture will be installed in the Mandapam on Vinayaka Chavithi day (19 September 2012) with grand puja and other ceremonies.
The sand idol will be immersed at the same place by watering.
Tarani has made hundreds of sand sculptures on Hinduism, Hindu Gods, Goddess and Sanatana Dharma concepts..
