Yogatattva Upanishad

Yogatattva Upanishad is one among the 50 Upanishads as part of Yajurveda. Yogatattva Upanishad is classified as a minor Upanishad in the Advaita canon, dealing with the practices of Yoga.

Yogatattva Upanishad has lists of troubles and afflictions, known as Upasarga that a practitioner of Yoga should strive to overcome as mentioned below…..

Dosha – Hunger, thirst, excitement, grief, anger, greed, etc.

Vighna – Sloth, boastfulness, bad company, cultivation of mantras for wrong reasons and longing for women.

Yogatattva Upanishad is also believed as one of the early sources of Trantric ideas related to Chakras in Hindu dharma.
