Thirumurai is a divine collection of songs written in praise of Lord Shiva, in the wonderful Tamil language, before few centuries ago, by various Shaivite Saints like Appar, Sambandhar, Sundarar, Karaikal Ammaiyar, Cheraman Perumal, Sekkizhar and Nambi.
