Kandukuri Sivananda Murthy (1928-2015 ) was a Hindu philosopher and a Spiritual master. He was born in Andhra Pradesh into a noble Hindu family, and his family members were ardent devotees of Lord Shiva. Through his good knowledge and kind approach, he has many disciples and well-wishers in India and in foreign countries. He has written lot of spiritual books.
He built hundreds of Shiva temples, since he was very much attached with Lord Shiva. After completing his education, he served in the police department and sincerely rendered his duty.He differed from his colleagues, and used to show kindness on everyone, and corrected the bad ones by giving useful advises to them.
He had done lot of services for the welfare of the poor people,and provided necessary food items to them, at his own cost. He lived righteously as per the teachings of the Hindu Dharma, and he was loved by the people for his kind attitude over others.
He loved nature, and used to visit the hilly regions, and used to spend his time in watching the beautiful birds, and also provided food and water to them. He was interested in music and dance, and used to hear devotional songs.
His books were praised by the Kanchi saint Paramacharya and Sringeri Sankaracharya. He founded music and dance schools for promoting art.He was highly honoured by various institutions for his interest in fine arts. After serving the society for many years, he died in the year 2015.
