Narasimha Saraswati
Guru Pratipada, Guru Padyami, is observed with utmost fervor in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra & some other Western and North parts of India. Guru Pratipada is the day of incarnation completion of Nrusimha Saraswati. Nrusimha Saraswati is believed as one of the incarnations of Lord Dattatreya.
In 2025, Guru Pratipada date is February 13. It is observed on Krishna Paksha Pratipada in Magh month as per Amavasyant lunar calendars (Marathi calendar).
Guru Pratipada also follows the Datta Navratri in many Dattatreya Temples.
