Ganesh Festival Special Trains from Bandra in September 2015..For the convenience of passengers during Ganesh festival, the Western Railway will run fully reserved special trains from Bandra for which the fares chargeable will be inclusive of special charges.

The bi-weekly AC special train, Bandra to Madgaon, will leave leave Bandra Terminus at 10.10 am on Mondays and Wednesdays from September 14 to 23 and will reach Madgaon at 3.30 am the next day. The train will halt at Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Zarap, Sawantwadi Road, Madure, Thivim and Karmali stations in both directions. The train will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier and AC chair car coaches.

The second train will be a tri-weekly special train between Bandra and Madgaon. It will leave Bandra Terminus at 12.15 am on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from September 12 to 26 and will reach Madgaon at 4.30 pm on the same day. The train will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper class and II Seating Reserved Coaches.

Bookings will begin from August 2 at all PRS counters and IRCTC website.
