Bhadrakali Jayanti is the first appearance day or Avataran utsav of Goddess Bhadrakali. It is believed that on Krishna Paksha Ekadashi day in Jyeshta month, Goddess Badrakali was appeared on the Earth to demolish the demons. In 2021, Bhadrakali Jayanti date is June 6.

Bhadrakali Jayanti is mainly observed in Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Haryana. It is the major festival for the sect of Aryan Saraswat Brahmins. Bilva Puja, Chandan Puja, Puja with pure butter (Panchamrita abhishek), and observing Upvaas (vigil or fast) are the main rituals of the day. This festival is called as Bhadrakali Ekadashi.
