The TTD plans to conduct Ankurarpanam on July 11 as part of the Annual Pushpa Yagam at Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy Temple of Appalayagunta on July 12, 2025.
On July 18, after morning daily rituals the utsava idols of Lord and his consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi will be given snapana thirumanjanam with desi herbs and later grand Pushpa Yagam will be performed with aromatic leaves and colorful flowers.
The temple priests said the Pushpa yagam was performed to ward of evil impacts of any ritualistic lapses during the recently concluded Brahmotsavams of the temple. The celebrations will conclude in the evening with bright and colorful veedhi utsavam procession.

జూలై 12న అప్పలాయగుంట శ్రీ ప్రసన్నవేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో పుష్పయాగం
అప్పలాయగుంటలోని శ్రీ ప్రసన్న వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామి వారి ఆలయంలో జూలై 12వ తేదీ శనివారం పుష్పయాగం జరుగనుంది. ఇందుకోసం జూలై 11వ తేదీ శుక్రవారం రాత్రి 7.30 – 8.00 గం.ల మధ్య అంకురార్పణ నిర్వహిస్తారు.
జూన్ 07 నుండి 15వ తేదీ వరకు శ్రీప్రసన్న వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామి ఆలయంలో వార్షిక బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలు జరిగిన విషయం విదితమే.
ఈ ఉత్సవాల్లో ఏవైనా లోపాలు జరిగి ఉంటే వాటికి ప్రాయశ్చిత్తంగా పుష్పయాగం నిర్వహిస్తారు. అనంతరం శ్రీదేవి భూదేవి సమేత శ్రీవారికి స్నపనతిరుమంజనం చేపడతారు. ఇందులో పాలు, పెరుగు, తేనె, చందనం, పసుపు తదితర సుగంధ ద్రవ్యాలతో విశేషంగా అభిషేకం చేస్తారు. మధ్యాహ్నం 02.00 నుండి సాయంత్రం 5 గంటలవరకు పుష్పయాగం కన్నులపండుగగా నిర్వహిస్తారు. ఇందులో పలురకాల పుష్పాలతో స్వామివారికి అభిషేకం చేస్తారు. ఆ తరువాత తిరువీధి ఉత్సవం నిర్వహిస్తారు.
