Diwali or Deepavali is the most celebrated festival in India. Diwali 2012 date or Deepavali 2012 date is November 13. Diwali festival is a five-day celebration which begins with Dhanteras (Dhan Trayodasi).
The second day of Diwali is Narak Chaturdasi (Roop Chaudas / Kali Chaudas). Third day of the festival is main Diwali (Deepavali).
Bali Pratipada (Govardhan Puja) and Yama Dwitiya (Bhai Dooj) are the fourth and fifth day of Diwali celebrations respectively.
