Saleshwaram
The 3-day Saleshwaram Jatara, famously known as Telangana’s Amarnath Yatra, has begun on Thursday, 10 April 2025. Saleshwaram Lingamaiah Jathara, held deep inside the Nallamala forest in Lingal Mandal of Nagarkurnool district, is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This divine event concludes on 13th April.
The forest department of Telangana has put restrictions to curtail the heavy flow of devotees. Devotees are allowed to enter the Nallamala through Farhabad check-post only between 7 AM and 6 PM.
Toll charges for vehicles coming through the check-posts have become a huge burden to devotees. The government has increased the toll charges approximately five times than normal charges.
