If a lady is pregnant in the house can they have ganpati sthapana at home

I wanted to know if we have a lady pregnant in the house is there something in the vedas/Hinduism that – the household should not have Ganesh idol at home for ganesh chaturthi?
if so then what is the reason behind it?

If any pregnant woman is there at home, Ganesh sthapana can be done on Ganesh Chaturthi. There is no rule in Puranas / other scriptures about this. But Homas, Havans or Yagnas cannot be done when any pregnant woman is there at house.

I am not sure about Ganesh Visarjan (Ganapathi Nimajjanam) when a pregnant woman is there at home. It depends on the local beliefs, you can ask any local pundit or pujari about this.

Just out of curiosity – is there a reason why the yagna cant be done.
Also regarding Visarjan I have heard something similar however do you know if we take the ganesh idol to the water – dip the idol 3 times and get it back home? or one shouldn’t go near the water at all?

according to hinduism, it has been said that if a woman is pregnant she has to perform ritual and prayers very frequently. so by doing such type of pooja the mother who is carrying the baby will protect both the baby and herself from all short of problem.as we are aware that praying ganesha will free us from all short of negativity.so the problem of praying god during pregnancy does not arrise. be positive and be happy.
