Yadagirigutta temple remain closed during Changra Grahanam, 16 July 2019. This Chandra Grahan will be taking place on Ashada Purnima.
In the view of the lunar eclipse, Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Yadadri will remain closed on July 16. The eclipse falls between 1.31 am to 4.29 am on July 17. Due to the lunar eclipse around 1.19 am on July 16, the temple will be closed five hours prior to the eclipse i.e, at 6.30 pm.
The temple will be opened for Samprokshan and other purificatory rituals at 5.30 am. The devotees will be allowed for darshan from 9 am on July 17.
Meanwhile, the authorities also cancelled the conduct of Arjitha sevas at the temple due to the eclipse.
This is the Partial Lunar Eclipse (Pakshika Chandra Grahanam) which will be visible completely in Yadagirigutta and other parts of Telangana state and India.
