And Valmiki Ramayanam mentions below Shloka..

Meaning of this Shloka: Sri Rama was born on Chaitra Shukla Navami tithi, Punarvasu Nakshatram, Karkataka Lagna, Madhyahna Samaya, when five Planets are in exaltation in Mesha Maasa and when Guru (Jupiter) Chandra (Moon) were met each other.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam also mentioned Sri Ramanavami date as April 2.

Sri Ramanavami 2020 date in North India – 2 April 2020, Thursday

Sri Ramanavami 2020 date in Andhra Pradesh – 2 April 2020, Thursday

Sri Ramanavami 2020 date in Telangana (Bhadrachalam Temple) – 2 April 2020, Thursday

Smarta Sri Ramanavami – 1 April 2020, Wednesday

Vaishnava Sri Ramajayanti – 2 April 2020, Thursday

Sometimes when Navami tithi and Punarvasu Nakshatra coincides on the same day. And sometimes due to absence of Punarvasu Nakshatra, Sri Ramanavami is declared based on the adjustments in tithi.

But temples like Bhadrachalam Sri Sitaramachandra Swamy Temple and Telangana governments have declared Sri Ramanavami festival on April 2, 2020. This is somehow not matching with the above Shlokas in the scriptures and even the traditions of the temple.

Bhadrachalam is Paancharatra Aagama Temple. The temple committee has been putting up a new tradition since few years saying Srirama Kalyanam will not be performed on a day when Ashtami and Navami both prevail. According to them it should be celebrated on a day where Navami tithi prevails from sunrise time. But there is no mention of the above clause in Paancharatra Aagama Scriptures.

Also to note that Andhra Pradesh government will celebrate Sri Ramakalyanam at Vontimitta Kondandarama Ramaswamy Temple is held on 2 April 2020.
