Junior pontiff of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham Sri Vijayendra Saraswati along with his disciples offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on Sunday.
The junior seer of the Kanchi mutt was accorded a traditional welcome along with temple honours on his arrival at the entrance of the Tirumala temple by the temple priests and the officials.
As the seer was led into the temple, Sri Vijayendra Saraswati rendered the ‘Vinjamara’ seva to the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara at the Tirumala temple.
TTD deputy EO Chinnamgari Ramana coordinated the visit of the Kanchi seer to the Tirumala temple on Sunday.
