Tirupati Special Trains for Puri, Bhubaneswar, Bangalore in September 2011 to January 2012

To clear the extra rush of passengers during Durga Puja, Dasara Durga Navaratri 2011, Diwali, and some other festivals and to meet the demand of heavy rush, East Coast Railway has decided to run Puja Special trains for Bangalore – Tirupati from Puri & Bhubaneswar respectively. The special trains will be operated from 9 September 2011 to 1^st January 2012.

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during Festival season, the following Special trains, passing through South Central Railway system, will be run.

1) Train No. 08469 Puri-Bangalore Garib Rath Special train will depart Puri at 14 30 hrs o­n Fridays during the period 9^thSeptember to 30^th December, 2011 and arrive Bangalore at 22 45 hrs o­n Saturdays. In the return direction, Train No. 08470 Bangalore-Puri Garib Rath Special train will depart Bangalore at 23 55 hrs o­n Saturdays from 10^thSeptember to 31^st December, 2011 and arrive Puri at 05 50 hrs o­n Mondays. Enroute, this train will stop at Balugaon, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Donakonda, Markapur, Nandyal, Dronachalam, Dharmavaram S.S.S Nilayam, Hindupur, Yelahanka and Bangalore Cantonment. These trains will have 17 Garib Rath III Tier AC Coaches.

2) Train No. 08471 Bhubaneswar-Tirupati Special train will depart Bhubaneswar at 11 45 hrs o­n Saturdays during the period 10^th September to 31^st December, 2011 and arrive Tirupati at 09 45 hrs o­n Sundays. In the return direction, Train no. 08472 Tirupati-Bhubaneswar Special train will depart Tirupati at 14 00 hrs o­n Sundaysduring the period 11^thSeptember to 1^st January, 2012. Enroute, these trains will stop at Khurda Road,Balugaon, Berhampur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Chiprupalli, Vizianagaram, Viskhapatnam, Duvvada, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Tenali, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur and Renigunta. These trains will have 16 Coaches Viz.,one AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, three General Second Class and Two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake van Coaches.
