TTD has decided to provide Sri Venkateswara swamy prasadam in biodegradable bags from now on. Thus, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Trust (TTDT), one of the world’s richest temple trusts, has made that they very much forward in promoting green culture in India. As per the TTD, they have signed a deal with Greediamz Biotech Ltd to supply such bio-degradable bags.
These bio-degradable bags are made of 30-micron thick material and not get affected by ghee, oil or moisture. The bags get decomposed in 180 days after coming in contact with soil. These bags have been tested and certified by various organizations such as European Standard EN 13432 and other organizations like CIPET of Chennai, Indian Institute of packaging of Mumbai and BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards).
