The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is planning to build a replica of its Balaji temple in Mumbai. TTD has set up an information center for devotees travelling to Tirupati from Mumbai and other cities of Maharashtra. The TTD information center in Mumbai will be inaugurated on December 1, 2011, through which devotees will be able to make reservations for darshan, puja & accommodation in Tirupati.
The integrated information centre at Sion Circle will also have a temple, meditation hall, prayer halls & a prasadam distribution centre. As per the official sources of TTD, the Mumbai’s upcoming Venkateshwara Temple will be built in on a three acre plot. The committee is also making arrangements to organize a 15-day cluster Kalyanotsavam festival in Mumbai & other cities of Maharashtra.
