Sri Anantalwar for Pushpa Kainkaryam in Tirumala

Sri Anantalwar, the great disciple of Sri Ramanuja Charya pioneered Pushpakainkaryam in Tirumala and expressed his devotion towards Lord Venkateswara, said CVSO Sri A Ravikrishna.

The 964th Anantalwar Aradhanotsavam was held at Purasaivari Tota in Tirumala on Sunday.

The CVSO who took part in the spiritual fete said, Anantalwar stood as an example of an ardent disciple and devotee and hence remembered even after nine centuries of his demise.

SO Sri N Muktheswara Rao said, Anantalwar happens to own a rare relationship with Lord as a devotee who talked, played and even fought with Him.

Earlier Tirumala Sri Pedda Jiyar Swamy aand Sri Chinna Jiyar Swamy complimented the successors of Anantalwar for organising the fete from the past several decades sustaining the legacy.

Sri Perambadur Embar Jiyar, Kanchpuram Sri Manavala Jiyar, Vadakesari Sri Azagiya Jiyar swamy also graced the fete.

Meaanwhile 4000 decendants of Anantalwar clan presented. “Nalayira Divyaprabandha Gosthi Ganam”.

Alwar Divya Prabandha Project special officer Dr Chokkalingam, Sri Tatacharyulu – Anantalwar decendant and OSD P Seshadri were also present.
