Sri Sankaralingaswami (Sankara Narayanar ) temple is located in the village named Sankarankoil, in the district of Tirunelveli, in the state of Tamil Nadu in South India. The main deity of this temple is Sankaralingam (Lord Shiva) and his consort is Gomathi.

The temple is open for all the Hindus from 5.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and from 4.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. Even special pujas and rituals are conducted on Shivarathri day. It is the most sought after temple in this district. Special pujas and rituals are conducted in this temple on all Tuesdays and Sundays that is dedicated to Lord and Mother.
