Today, 8 February 2012 is Purnima, Full Moon day in Hindi calendar. It is Falgun Purnima and marks the end of Phalgun Month in North Indian Hindi calendars. Phalgun Purnima is also celebrated as Holi festival, Phagu, Phaguva, Dola Purnima, Kamuni Purnima, Kaman Pandigai, Chhareti or Chharedi, Dhulendi, Dhuleti festival, etc. It is the festival of Colours in Hinduism.
