Paper Ganesh idol will be worshipped in Prasad’s IMAX Theatre in Hyderabad for Ganesh Chaturthi 2011. On September 1, Vinayaka Chavithi day, Big 92.7 FM with association of Prasad’s IMAX and Ramky Group will launch an initiative of eco-friendly Ganesh festival celebrations. For the making of Paper Ganapati idol, more than 1 ton of newspaper pulp will be used.
The Big Green Ganesha or Paper pulp Ganesh idol will be displayed at Prasads IMAX, Hyderabad, from September 1 to September 9. For the making of Paper Ganesh idol, 92.7 Big FM RJs will collect the paper from listeners all around the city. RJs will also visit eco friendly Ganesh pandals to select the winner of best eco friendly Ganesh pandals as part of RAMKY best Ganesh Pandal 2011.
