To clear the extra rush of passengers during Diwali 2013, the Western Railway will run 12 special weekly services between Bandra Terminus and Bhavnagar in Gujarat from October 21.
The train number 09231 Bandra Terminus – Bhavnagar weekly special train will depart at 1.15pm on every Monday from Bandra Terminus and reach Bhavnagar at 6am the next day. This train will run from October 21 to November 25.
Similarly, in the return direction, the train number 09232 Bhavnagar – Bandra Terminus weekly special will leave from Bhavnagar on every Sunday at 5.30pm and will arrive Bandra Terminus at 7.35am the next day. This train will run from October 20 to November 24.
The train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Navsari, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Joravarnagar, Botad, Dhola and Songadh stations in both directions.
The train will have AC III Tier, Sleeper Class and II class General Coaches.
