Mukta Bharan Saptami | Amuktabharan Sapthami

Mukta bharan Saptami or Amukthabharan Sapthami is observed on Shukla Paksha Saptami or the seventh day during the second half of Bhadra month. In 2020, Muktabharan Saptami date is August 25.

Muktha Bharan Saptami is mainly observed in North Indian states – Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh.

In some North Indian regions, on Mukta bharan Saptami day, Uma Maheshwar Puja is performed by married couple for happy and long married life. Unmarried women perform Uma Maheswar Pooja to get married.

Uma is the other name of Goddess Parvati and Maheshwar is Lord Shiva. To get blessings of the divine couple, performing Uma Maheshwar Puja on Bhadrapad Shukla Saptami is the best way.

In 2017, Muktabharan Saptami date was August 28.

In 2016, Muktabharan Saptami date was September 8.

In 2015, Muktabharan Saptami date was September 20.

In 2014, Muktabharan Saptami date was September 1.

In 2013, Muktabharan Saptami date was September 12.

In 2012, Muktabharan Saptami date was September 22.
