Longest Total Solar Eclipse – Surya Grahan on July 22 in 2009

This Surya Grahan would be the longest Total Solar Eclipse till the year 2132. This solar eclipse will take place for 6 minutes and 44 seconds.
The Solar Eclipse of July 22nd begins at 5.28 a.m (IST) and ends at 10.42 a.m. (IST). The Surya Grahan first touches the Earth at Sunrise point in the Arabian Sea at the Western Coast of India. Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar and some Northeastern States will view the Sampoorn Surya Grahan while other regions of India will see partial or pakshik Surya Grahan.
