Kanipakam Ganesh Temple (Varasiddhi Vinayaka Temple) located in kanipakam near Tirupati, is the famous temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha. In 2023, Kanipakam begins on September 18 and ends on September 8.

Brahmotsavam, the biggest festival celebrated in Kanipakam Vinayaka temple, commences on Ganesh Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chavithi and lasts for 21 days.

During Brahmotsavam, Ganesh idol is taken out in procession on various ‘vahanams’ (carriages). Thousands of devotees witness the festivities of Brahmotsavam in Ganesh temple with utmost devotion.

There is a rare tradition to worship the Lord with various puja items each day in the event. Devotees from surrounding villages of Kanipakam throng the temple and offer special pujas to the presiding deity. They offer Abhishekam to Ganesha with water of their villages’ wells and lakes.

Vahana Seva and Gramotsavam in Kanipakam Vinayaka Brahmotsavam:

Gramotsavam is the major event in Brahmotsavam festival during which the Lord is taken out in procession to surrounding villages. Hamsa Vahanam seva, Nemali Vahanam seva, Mooshika Vahanam seva, Vrushabha vahanam seva, Gaja vahanam seva, Rathotsavam, Thiru Kalyanam, and Vadavathu Utsavam are the major events during Kanipakam Varasiddhi Vinayaka swamy Temple Brahmotsavam.

In 2016, Kanipakam begins on September 5 and ends on September 25.

In 2015, Kanipakam begins on September 17 and ends on October 7.

In 2014, Kanipakam begins on August 29 and ends on September 18.

In 2013, Kanipakam Brahmotsavam begins on September 9 and ends on September 29.

In 2012, Kanipakam Brahmotsavam was from September 19 to October 9.

    This is nice and reality of god in this. Place. This temple is very good construction; here lard siva temple;varadarajula swamy temple also here and mirror temple so nice place; daily so people free food also. Provideing my father also my son& daughter names giving some donation; I feel very happy please give some donation for free food & cow grass
