There is no need of running around police stations to get permission for erecting Ganesh Pandal in Hyderabad. Ganesh Chaturthi 2023 has brought Ganesh Mandal organizers good news that they can also apply for permission through online application system. Organisers can now apply directly through online system for forthcoming Vinayaka Chavithi Navaratri utsavams.

The applicants have to furnish their name, contact details, location including the local Police station limits in which their pandal would fall. They also need to produce details of the installation and the date of immersion of the idol.

The Police department would issue the necessary permissions instantly if the applicant has furnished all the details, including NOCs from the relevant authorities – NOC from the owner of the land, NOC from TS Transco, NOC from Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, and the permission from the police for using loud speakers and conducting cultural events. The applications will have to be submitted online on the Cyberabad Police website & Hyderabad Police.gov.in website

It is to note that Ganesh Chaturthi Navaratri 2023 starts on September 18 and ends on September 28 with Ganapati nimajjanam.

Application forms for permit to install idols and take out processions will be available at all police stations in September 2023.

In contrary, there are some rumours that ‘Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsava Samithi’ is intimating the locales that there is no need to take permission. ‘Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsava Samithi’ has no official word on it.
