    JAYA JAYA SHRI KRUSHNA!
In Kaliyuga, people seem to be worshipping Hanuman more than Lord Rama and Lord Krushna! There is no need to worship Hanuman. Worship of only five forms of God are prescribed in Sanatana(Hindu) Dharma. These are Shiva, Shakti(Durga), Ganesha, Diwakara(Surya) and Lord Rama(Krushna). The real God is Shri Krushna(Rama). Worship of Lord Krushna includes worsip of all other forms of Gods and Goddesses. These days, people are also worshipping Shirdi Sai Baba. Such worship of Hanuman and Sai Baba will not benifit worshippers in any manner. No doubt, Hanuman is a great devotee of Lord Rama. Shirdi Sai Baba also lived a life of penance. But, these are not God. Hanuman is a monkey. Whatever greatness is found in Hanuman is all due to the grace of Lord Rama. At the end of His leela, Lord Rama took all the residents of Ayodhya to heaven(Saket Loka- a new abode created by Brahma) but he left Hanuman behind and made him ‘chiranjiva’. Why? Because, Hanuman committed few mistakes. Hanuman burnt down Lanka for which he had no permission of Lord Rama. When he returned from Lanka and entered Kishkindha, he destroyed the royal garden unnecessarily. Lord Rama did not rebuke Hanuman publicly. But, in a way, He punished Hanuman by leaving him behind. The Almighty God is very accurate in deciding about the fruits of action of each one of us. So, we have to keep on praying to the Lord to guide us even in our day to day routine matters so that we do not commit any mistake out of ignorance or being influenced by our sense organs and prides and prejudices etc. The best thing is to surrender completely to the Lord so that we do not have any freedom of action. Then, God takes care of us for every action (marjara buddhi). HARI BOL!

  2. Krishna says:

Dear Sir this is in response to your post that we should not pray to Hanuman or Shirdhi Sai Baba – I would beg to differ on your view…

God resides in the hearts of the devotees, service to that devotee is service to God himself.

Also your statement, that Rama left behind Hanuman because he made a mistake is not correct. The Almighty God, left his most favorite devotee back on earth so that he can guide the rest of us in the path of devotion. Hanuman has been granted the boon to be the next Bramha, and of what use is Swarga for Hanuman if Rama is not there.

Gita clearly states that when a river merges into the ocean, there is no difference between ocean and river; similarly, since Hanuman always thinks of Rama, there is no difference between Hanuman and Rama.

Coming to Shirdhi Sai Baba – Similar to Rama came to earth to save people from the Rakshahas, so did Siva come as Shirdi Sai Baba to save people and put them on righteous path.

All the above of what I have said is only Theory – as said by Ramakrishna Paramhamsa, you can squeeze an almanac but you will not get a single drop of water. The best way to test anything is by trying out ourselves, please try praying to Sai Baba or Hanuman; you will Realize Rama (or Krushna)

    Devotee of God.
