Ganesh Chaturthi 2013 date is September 9. On Vinayaka Chavithi day, at or before 11.00 am you should bring the Ganesh idol to home.

There is no Amrita kaalam on 9th September 2013. Before 12.47 PM you need to complete the Ganesha puja. Ganesh Avahana or Sthapana (installation of Ganesha) should be completed by 12.47 PM.
