Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal Lalbaugcha Raja Ganesh

Lalbaugcha Raja Ganpati, situated near Lower Parel, is the most famous Ganesh and one of the rich Ganesh mandals in Mumbai. In 2020, Lalbaugcha Raja Ganpati Mandal has called off Ganeshotsav celebrations due to COVID-19 lockdown and getting ready to organise Blood donation camps and Plasma donation camps instead.

“lalbaugcha raja (The Emperor of Lalbaug)” is name of the popular Ganesh Idol of “lalbaugcha raja sarvajanik ganeshotsav mandal”. The Mandal, formerly known as “Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, Lalbaug” was founded in the year 1934, at its existing place.

With the consistent efforts & support of the then local Councilor, Late Shri. Kuwarji Jethabhai Shah, Dr. V. B. Korgaonkar and the local residents, the landlord Rajabai Tayyabali agreed to give a plot for construction of a market.

Ganesh Galli Ganpati, Lalbaug Sarvajanik Utsav Mandal, Ganeshgalli (Mumbai Cha Raja)

Ganesh Galli Ganpati, located near Parel, is the most popular Ganpati pandal which is known for its unique theme every year. For 2017, Ganesh idol will have a Seshnaag murti which is the same as the 1985 idol made by famous idol sculpture Dinanath Veling. This special murthi marks the 90th year for Ganesh Galli Ganpati. The theme of our pandal is Sripuram Temple, which is located in Vellor in Tamil Nadu. The temple is completely covered with a 1500 kilo gold.

For 2014, Mumbaicha Raja Ganesh Mandal becomes the replica of Jejuri Khandoba Temple.

For Ganesh Chaturthi 2012, Ganesh Galli mandal has become a replica of Pashupatinath Temple.

For Ganesh Chaturthi 2011, Ganeshgalli Ganpati Mandal will have the theme of Srisailam Mallikarjuna swamy Temple of Kurnool district in Andhra Pradesh.

Khetwadicha Raja Ganpati of Sarvajanik Shree Ganeshotsav Mandal, located in Khetwadi Grant Road, is studded with gold and diamond work, with tusks of pure gold. For 2017 Ganesh Chaturthi, Khetwadicha Raja Ganpati idol was the largest Ganesh idol in Mumbai.

Located at 12th Lane, Khetwadi (Girgaum, South Mumbai), will host a gigantic Bahubali movie theme for 2017 Ganeshotsav. This year they are celebrating 59th year.

Ganeshotsav of G S B Seva Mandal, King Circle, Wadala, Matunga

This Ganesh idol is also known as Mumbai’s Gold Ganesha. Ganpati idol of G S B Ganesh Mandal is very popular for its gold jewelry worth of over 10 crores. In 2017, GSB Seva Mandal has got 264-crore rupees of insurance coverage.

GSB Seva Mandal Ganpati is the costliest Ganesha in Mumbai and as well as in India.

Chandanwadi Ganesh idol, located at Kalbadevi, was the tallest Ganpati idol in Mumbai for last year’s Ganesh Chaturthi. This is also considered as one of the Tallest Ganesha idols in Mumbai.

In the beginning two boys sold all their old news papers to buy an idol worth Rs. 8 from the Vile Parle market that was for one and a half day and now that small plant had turned in to big and a strong tree. Our ganesh mandal had introduced the historical changes in the making of Sarvajanik Ganesh Idol. Girgaoncha Raja Ganpati, Nikadvari Lane Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, Girgaon

This ganesh mandal is located at Charni Road Railway Station. Popularly known as Girgaoncha Raja Ganpati, Nikadvari Lane Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal’s Ganesh idol, was established in 1938 by Ramchandra Tendulkar. The eco-friendly Ganesh idol made of Shadu clay with nearly 25-feet height is the unique feature of Girgaoncha Raja Ganpati.

Tejukaya Cha Raja Ganesh – Tejukaya Mansion Ganeshotsav Mandal, Mumbai

Tejukaya Mansion Ganeshotsav Mandal Ganpati, popularly known as Tejukaya Cha Raja Ganesh, is one of the Ganesh mandals in Mumbai that erect the pandal with innovative themes. For 2017 Ganesh Chaturthi utsav, Tejukaya Cha Raja Ganesh Mandal’s Genesh idol will be seen seating in an attitude on the sinhashan. The Ganesh idol of Tejukaya was made by Rajan Jhad.

In 2020, they are celebrating 54 years.
